For the nature lovers the province offers an itinerary of great interest which range from the banks of the river Po (boat trips down river) to a nature reserve on the island of Pinedo. To the mountains of the Apennines, where one can find Mount Nero standing at 1752 metres , and the glacial lakes such as Lake Moo, Bino and Nero where rare species of plant life flourish. Easily accessible from Case Riglio the Trebbia valley where one can visit the rumbling cascades of the river Perino, with possibilities of canoeing and rafting along the river Trebbia. Not forgetting the parks and nature reserves such as the Regional Park of Stirone and the Piacenziano Nature Reserve.
